log rotation

Small feature request I got is: log rotation. My transfer log gets clogged after many months of usage. I would keep logs a month and delete them from last month, using log rotation that would be very easy. The main if not only culprit is, ofcourse, transfer.log. Perhaps this should be implemented in cron instead. But a timestamped transfer.log (on month?) would also work. Suggestions?
