TRAYICON USING PYGTK >= 2.10 * If you are using PyGTK 2.10, Nicotine+ will use gtk.SystemIcon() instead of the trayicon module. USING PYGTK <= 2.9 * To build the trayicon extension module, change to the "trayicon" subdirectory and run the "autogen.py" script using the python version that you run nicotine with. Then, as root, type "make install" and it should build the trayicon.so module and place it in the appropriate directory. * Or, you can run the "trayicon-install" script, which does the same thing in one go. * Don't forget to run 'make clean' and recompiling the module if you have an old module kicking around after a Python upgrade. * Source installations (not copied to /usr/..) will need the trayicon.so copied to the pynicotine subdirectory. WINDOWS: * The windows system tray uses PyWin, Python for windows extentions * Website: http://sourceforge.net/projects/pywin32/
